Advancement Office

The QAA Advancement Office helps to establish the Academy as an important, active and contributing member of our community. Its mandate is to increase supportive interaction among all those concerned with the Academy and to help strengthen the Academy's financial situation.

The Director of Advancement acts as the liaison between the Academy and the QAA Foundation and also coordinates annual events such as the Academy's Open House, fairs, convocation ceremonies and fundraising events along with the Parent Association, Alumnae Association, science fair, and various other community sponsored assemblies. The Office also works with over 250 Academy volunteers on QAA’s promotional and publicity needs.

QAA Class of 1969

Margaret Buzas, Director of Advancement since 1989, is a proud graduate of Queen of Angels Academy, as is her daughter. Tradition and caring are important aspects of Margaret’s personal and professional life. Her devotion and energy help to ensure the Foundation provides much needed funds for the continued education of our young women. This year, she is the driving force for the Academy’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
